First posts are
always awkward, more so now I've said that.
I have always been
an avid reader of online blogs, beauty ones in particular, thus I felt this
post would be ideal as a first timer. I am new to all this, so don't be too
hard on me....
I have chosen to
share my 4 most used make up products with you today as I was stuck on which genre of post to write first, and hey, beauty talk is always welcomed, am I
right?
First off, Clarins
Everlasting foundation with SPF 15. This is hands down, my all-time favourite foundation. Although more suited for oily skin types, I found this to work just
fine for any dry patches I may have. I find it gives just enough coverage to
remain natural looking, as well as keeping my skin appearing hydrated and
radiant. I could write a good couple more paragraphs on this foundation but I
wouldn't want to bore you with my infatuation of the frosted bottle.....
*drools*
Next up, the
'Benefit industrial strength boing concealer'. I own the shade 01 light, which
is an ideal match for my pale complexion. The creamy consistency blends
seamlessly onto the skin, and covers redness faultlessly; however I can imagine
this caking a little if applied to a blemish. May I also add my love for the
clear window, man, I love packaging.
Another Benefit
product thrown in to the mix is the 'Brow zings' kit in the shade deep. This
powder and wax duo work together effortlessly in creating natural looking
brows. Having owned this product for just over a year, I have barely used half
of the wax, which is pretty impressive considering the daily use. Admittedly,
the miniature brush and tweezers are pretty useless as they are just too fiddly;
however, once teamed with a full sized brow brush, this kit is an all-round saviour.
And lastly, the No7
stay perfect mascara. This mascara has a teeny-tiny wand which is ideal for
separating lashes and targeting the tricky inner ones. The waterproof formula
is impressive, ruling out any unwanted smudges or panda eyes half way through
the day.
And there we have
it! First blog post - check!
